The festival is expected to take place over three days, from April 16 to 18 at the King Ly Thai To area, at Nha Bat Giac (Octagon House), Le Thach street, Le Lai street and the Hanoi Children's Palace (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi), including common spaces, tourist booths and culinary spaces.

Specifically, the common space will have miniatures of tourist destinations in Hanoi and provinces and cities as a check-in space for visitors, as well as private booths from other provinces and cities to promote tourism and local specialties. The tourist area will introduce products, destinations and tours, as well as special offers on tours, hotels, air tickets.

The Hanoi culinary space will introduce some outstanding dishes and specialties of the capital such as Hanoi’s pho (noodle soup), cha ca (grilled fish), bun thang (rice vermicelli with chicken, egg and pork), and Hanoi’s coffee. The main stage area at Nha Bat Giac will feature performance art activities, demonstrations of food processing techniques, and games to attract visitors.

As planned, the festival will emphasise the message "Nguoi Ha Noi di du lich Ha Noi” (Hanoians travelling in Hanoi", encouraging the people of the capital to explore attractive destinations in the inner city of Hanoi and in districts such as Son Tay, Ba Vi, Soc Son, and Dong Anh. Many tourism promotion and stimulus activities are also being organised such as a trade programme named “Business to Business” (B2B), a survey of prominent tourist destinations in Hanoi and tourism products across a range of theaters and booths.
