Speaking at the event, chairwoman of the committee Tran Kim Yen said the city has launched a campaign in support of a fund for the homeland’s seas and islands to carry out the programme “For Green Truong Sa” for the 2023-2025 period.

The programme "For Green Truong Sa" will run from now until April 30 or until the expected target of 76 billion VND is reached.

In the coming days, the municipal delegation will visit officers, soldiers, and people in Truong Sa island district and DK1/14 platform, and present them with 20 billion VND for the purchase of seedlings, vegetable seeds, materials and fertilizers and building of community gardens.
