The event marked the 30th anniversary of a distinctive programme in the Vietnamese market — the only initiative established, maintained, and developed on the basis of consumer trust and voting.

The event was attended by Le Minh Hoan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA), along with representatives of ministries, sectors, Ho Chi Minh City authorities, and the business community.

Among the 581 enterprises that received the 2026 High-Quality Vietnamese Goods certification, 28 have maintained the title continuously for 30 years, while 42 enterprises received the title for the first time.

The enterprises maintaining the title for 30 consecutive years demonstrates their ability to sustain consistent quality, preserve brand credibility, and adapt to multiple cycles of market fluctuations.

Conversely, the 42 first-time awardees reflect the emergence of a new generation of enterprises, increasingly oriented towards higher value-added development, environmental friendliness, health-focused products, leveraging local advantages, applying biotechnology, and ensuring greater transparency in product information.

Speaking at the ceremony, Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, stated that over the past 30 years, the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Programme has become a reputable brand with wide-ranging influence, making significant contributions to improving product quality and strengthening consumer confidence in Vietnamese goods.

At the same time, it has encouraged enterprises to continuously innovate, enhance competitiveness, and integrate internationally. Ho Chi Minh City consistently regards the business community as the central driving force of socio-economic development.

Highly appreciating the achievements of the Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Enterprises, the NA vice chairman remarked that, over the past 30 years, it has expressed gratitude to enterprises that have chosen the path of integrity despite many challenges, and to consumers who have quietly “voted” with their trust every day.

He emphasised that 30 years is not an endpoint but a reminder: having come this far, there is no reason not to go further.
