Ragamuffin 90 sailed to a record victory while Chivas and Lucky came in second and third, respectively.
The regatta left Hong Kong on October 17, with nearly 200 sailors aboard 17 boats from the UK, Australia, the US and China. The race covered more than 650 nautical miles (1,200km) to the finish at Nha Trang’s Bao Dai Resort.
Inaugurated in 2004, the biennial regatta is organised by the Hong Kong Royal Yacht Club, the VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd and the Saigon Marina Co Ltd.
