In Pictures: Young Vietnamese-Cambodian officers join hands to foster tradition and build future
The Viet Nam-Cambodia young border officers exchange programme in 2025 with the theme “Fostering the Tradition, Building the Future” took place in Tay Ninh province on November 12.

This is an event within the framework of the 2nd Viet Nam-Cambodia Border Defence Friendship Exchange jointly organised by the Ministry of National Defence of Viet Nam and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia. In order for the special relationship between the two peoples of Viet Nam and Cambodia to continue to be a brilliant expression of the close friendship and solidarity in fighting as affirmed by President Ho Chi Minh and King Norodom Sihanouk, over the years, the defence sector has been an important pillar of the relationship between the two countries. The performance entitled “Mekong - New Era” was performed by the Viet Nam Border Guard Art Troupe and the Royal Cambodian Army Art Troupe.

Young officers of Viet Nam and Cambodia read the Letter of Determination to join hands to protect the border of peace, friendship and development. In the 2nd Vietnam-Cambodia Border Defence Friendship Exchange, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence also awards scholarships to 60 disadvantaged students of the two countries. The song named “Border Friendship” closes the exchange programme.
