Vietnam gold price gained slightly on December 26 as the bullion rose globally, boosted by the US dollar’s drop. Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar inched up 0.24% to VND84.5 million (3,321.93 USD) per tael.
Global gold prices on September 23 surged to a record level as investors anticipated further interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve, trading at 3,784 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, both SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings rose sharply, quoted at 135 million VND per tael and 131.5 million VND per tael, respectively.
