On 25 July, Viet Nam’s benchmark VN-Index rose by 0.66% to reach 1,531.13 points, marking its fourth consecutive gain of the week. The index closed 10.11 points higher, building on a 7.81-point increase in the previous session.
Global gold prices on August 30 continued their strong upward momentum due to technical buying power and rising safe-haven demand, trading at 3,448 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and rings continuously broke records, trading at 130.6 million VND/tael and 125 million VND/tael, respectively.
