Infographic: VN-Index gains more than 11 points on July 28
The Vietnamese stock market extended its gains on July 28, with the VN-Index rising 11.61 points to 1,680.62, supported by strong performances in banking, securities and basic materials stocks.
Global gold prices rebounded on July 14 following a sharp fall in the previous session, trading at 4,015.1 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC-branded gold bars and rings continued to decline significantly, with prices quoted at 147.1 million VND per tael and 146.6 million VND per tael, respectively.
