The three-day exhibition has attracted the participation of over 500 brands from 25 countries and territories, such as Germany, Turkey, Thailand, Japan, and Vietnam, among others.
According to Reed Tradex’s Deputy Managing Director, Suttisak Wilanan, the exhibition’s organiser, the exhibition is expected to not only provide a good opportunity for local manufacturers to discover the latest machine tools from the 500 brands but to also expand their business networks.
Metalex Vietnam 2017 is held at the same venue as the Vietnam Electronics Assembly 2017, an international machinery expo for electronic parts and components manufacturing; and the Vietnam International Supporting Industries Exhibition 2017.
The three exhibitions are expected to offer an excellent destination for the sourcing of advanced metalworking technologies and solutions for local industrialists and manufacturers.
Also within the framework of the exhibitions, a number of specialised seminars will be held with the aim of providing professional metalworking solutions, as well as opportunities for enterprises to seek business opportunities.
According to the BMI Research reports Vietnam will become the second fastest-growing production hub for cars in Southeast Asia, after the Philippines, between 2017 and 2021.
Business opportunities will present themselves to industrialists as investment projects are pouring into Vietnam and metalworking will become increasingly important to the manufacturing and supporting industries, as metal and steel are essential materials for industrial products.
