The show was a part of the ‘Angels of Italy’ programme, which was hosted by the Embassy of Italy to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Italian Republic (June 2).

Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Cecilia Piccioni said that the programme was designed to help the audience explore cultural features of the boot-shaped country through fashion, music and cuisine.

The show featured collections from Vietnamese designers Xuan Hao, Quang Huy and Minh Hanh.

The designs were inspired by Italian stamps, depicting the country’s beauty and telling the story of its development over the past seven decades.

The cat walk included not only professional Vietnamese models but also Italians working in Vietnam and Italian children living in Hanoi
