The Vietnam International Defence Exhibition 2024 was officially opened on December 19. The exhibition spans a total area of over 100,000m2, with an indoor display area of 15,000m2 (double that of the 2022 exhibition) and an outdoor area of over 20,000m2.

On the morning of December 19, after the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other Party and State leaders also visited the expo. As seen in the photo, the Prime Minister visited the exhibition booth of CT Group. At the exhibition space of the Ministry of Science and Technology, CT Group introduced high-tech products such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of CT UAV, semiconductor chips of CT Semiconductor, carbon credits of ASEAN-CCTPA Carbon Credit Exchange Joint Stock Company, and artificial intelligence (AI) of CTOptimal.

According to the Organising Committee, the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 aims to strengthen and expand international cooperation, defence diplomacy; build trust between Vietnam and countries around the world; share defence foreign policies and guidelines; advocate building the army and developing the defence industry; and create conditions for countries, companies, and domestic and international enterprises to introduce, display products, and seek opportunities to expand cooperation.

According to the Organising Committee, the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 aims to strengthen and expand international cooperation, defence diplomacy; build trust between Vietnam and countries around the world; share defence foreign policies and guidelines; advocate building the army and developing the defence industry; and create conditions for countries, companies, and domestic and international enterprises to introduce, display products, and seek opportunities to expand cooperation.
Furthermore, the exhibition contributes to strengthening international cooperation in defence industry; diversifying cooperation channels for purchasing, receiving, and transferring technology to produce technical equipment and logistics equipment to meet the requirements of armed forces; studying the development trends of weapons and technical equipment in the world to propose, select, purchase, produce, and improve weapons and equipment for the army; promoting and propagating the capacity, technological potential, and weapons and equipment produced by Vietnam's defence industry to international friends and domestic people; and seeking opportunities to export defence industry products.
