In Pictures: Programme celebrates Vietnamese Culture Day

A programme entitled “Thang Long–Ha Noi, A Thousand Years of Civilisation – Myriad Colours of Viet Nam” opened at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Ha Noi on October 3 to mark Vietnamese Culture Day (November 24).

The opening ceremony featured an artistic performance imbued with the cultural identity of Viet Nam’s ethnic communities.

Coordination regulations between the Ha Noi City People’s Committee and the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally run cities were signed at the event, covering the preservation and promotion of ethnic cultural values, the development of cultural and tourism products, and the organisation of activities at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

The opening ceremony showcased a harmonious blend of traditional musical instruments and folk songs from across Viet Nam.

Taking place on October 3 and 4, the programme includes exhibitions, performances, cultural exchanges and hands-on experiences introducing the cultural essence of Thang Long–Ha Noi. Twenty booths displaying craft village products, OCOP items and other typical offerings of the capital are also set up for the occasion.
