Speaking at the forum, Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, emphasised that technological transformation must be integrated with energy transformation, adding that the city targets to develop a sustainable economic development model in line with international trends.
According to Dr Tran Du Lich, Vice President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre, the framework for the renewable energy sector in Vietnam has not yet been completed, and the lack of regulations and guidelines has increased the risk of disputes, thus causing concern for investors.

The forum featured reports presented by investors and experts, as well as dialogues between investors and the local authorities regarding the implementation of renewable energy projects.
