The temple was built with a total investment of over VND4.3 billion from donations of Buddhist followers across the country and workers at the Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company (JSC) and the Central Region Cement JSC.
Covering an area of 1,300 square metres, the project includes a central chamber, house of study, group-house and refectory.
The project was built to replace the old temple, which was located on the compound of the cement companies.
Linh Tien Temple was founded by a Buddhist priest in 1676. The temple attracts hundreds of Buddhist followers across the country every year.
