The ceremony was also attended by General To Lam, a Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security.
Over the past 75 years, under the leadership of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the Logistics - Technical force has continuously grown, overcoming all difficulties and hardships, and actively participating in the implementation of political tasks, of the People's Public Security force.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasised that, the Logistics - Technical force is an indispensable component and has always met the requirements for work and combat, of the Vietnamese People’s Public Security force.
The development of the force has always been associated with the heroic and glorious history pages of the People’s Public Security, he noted.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the Second- and Third-Class Fatherland Defence Orders, and the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit, to outstanding collectives and individuals.
