According to the working programme, Long An Province will attend events organised by the VCCI in coordination with diplomatic agencies and chambers of commerce in these potential markets, such as: a Vietnam - France trade and investment seminar in Paris, a Long An - Cologne business roundtable, and a working program with the Vietnam - Belgium Alliance.

The delegation will meet and work bilaterally with leaders and leading corporations in France, Belgium, and Germany in the fields of transportation, energy, and industry.

During the working trip, the delegation members will attend the Vietnam Capital Dialogue in Frankfurt. This is a networking programme to attract financial investment, investment in green transformation projects in the Vietnamese market, exchange experiences, and create opportunities for Vietnamese business organizations to access resources.

This working trip continues the activities of the 2024 Investment Promotion Programme of Long An Province, which is very important in expanding the international relations of Long An Province with partners in Europe, promoting economic cooperation, attracting investment in green transformation projects, and actively contributing to the shift of foreign direct investment (FDI) into the province. This will also be a good opportunity for Long An Province's enterprises to exchange experiences and promote bilateral economic cooperation activities with European partners.

Currently, Long An has received about 1,367 FDI projects with total registered capital of over 12.5 billion USD. Of which, 15 European countries and territories are investing in a total of 72 projects in Long An with total investment capital of about 1 billion USD.
