After the leftist candidate Lula da Silva, a representative from the Workers’ Party (PT), won Brazil's presidential election, leaders of many Latin American countries, the US, Europe and many other nations around the world, extended their congratulations and expressed beliefs that their cooperation with Brazil will get better.
