Minister Nguyen Van Hung elected as President of Vietnam Olympic Committee

The Congress of delegates of the Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC) for the 2021-2026 tenure took place simultaneously in four major cities in an online format on November 18.

At the Congress, the delegates discussed and voted to approve the final report on VOC work in the fifth tenure and set the direction for the 6th term, as well as electedthe Executive Committee, the Standing Board and the Inspection Board along with key positions of the VOC in the new term.

Accordingly, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung was elected as President of the VOC.

In addition, the Congress also elected five Vice Presidents, as well as 13 members to the Standing Committee, and elected Tran Van Manh to hold the position of Secretary General of the VOC for the sixth term.
