The event was of a series of activities towards the 77th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Six Teachings for the People’s Public Security (March 11, 1948 - 2025), the 79th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s call for all people to exercise (March 27, 1946 - 2025) and major events of the country in 2025.
With the participation of 58 police units, 7 accompanying enterprises, the People’s Police Sports Association and nearly 2,000 leaders, officers, soldiers, contract workers, students of People’s Police schools; nearly 50 relay teams, the Olympic Running Day - For National Security of units under the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Police in 2025 aimed to demonstrate the determination and vanguard spirit of the People’s Police force in implementing Resolution No.12 of the Politburo on building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern People’s Police force, contributing to firmly protecting national security, social order and safety, for the peaceful life and happiness of the people.
After the opening ceremony, leaders, delegates and participants started running along the route of 1 lap around Thien Quang Lake (1.2km). Individuals and teams participated in the relay race, competing on the route of 4 laps around the lake (about 4.8km).
