Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, General To Lam, met with voters in Van Lam District, the northern province of Hung Yen on October 10, ahead of the sixth session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, representatives from the National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen Province informed voters of the schedule and contents of the sixth session of the 15th National Assembly as well as responded to voters' opinions and recommendations.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam highly valued the results of the socio-economic development in Hung Yen Province in the first 9 months of this year, with the industrial production index increasing by 6.03%, total retail sales of goods and service revenue rising by 96.29% and State budget revenue estimated at 95.38% of the year's plan.

He also noted that the security and order situation across the country has been basically guaranteed and the complicated cases have been handled promptly.

It is forecasted that in the coming time, the security and order of the country will continue to be complicated and unpredictable, so the Party, State and Ministry of Public Security look forward to receive greater attention, support and coordination from ministries, agencies and localities to further improve the efficiency in activities to ensure security and order, the fight against crime and violations of law on security and order, added the Minister.

Minister To Lam received opinions and recommendations and responded to a number of voters' recommendations. He also asked other members of the National Assembly Delegation of Hung Yen to promptly report to the National Assembly, the Government and the relevant agencies to consider, respond, resolve and soon inform voters of results.
