Continuing the programme of the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly, on May 7, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to listen to the contents of the submission of the draft resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; submission and report on the examination of the draft Law on Organisation of Local Administration (amended); submission and report on the examination of the draft Law on Cadres and Civil Servants (amended).
The National Assembly also listened to the report on explanation, acceptance, and revision of the draft Law on Employment (amended). Then, the National Assembly discussed a number of contents with different opinions regarding the draft Law on Employment (amended).
Previously, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No.194/2025/QH15 on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and Resolution No.195/2025/QH15 on establishing a committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
Pursuant to Resolution No.194/2025/QH15, the NA decided to consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to implement the policy of streamlining and streamlining the apparatus of the political system, focusing on regulations on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organisations, and the demarcation of administrative units and local government organisations.
The National Assembly established a committee to draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to preside over and coordinate with agencies to implement the task of drafting a resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and submit it to the NA for consideration and approval at the 9th Session.
In Resolution No.195/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to establish the 15-member Committee for Drafting Amendments and Supplements to a Number of Articles of the 2013 Constitution, chaired by NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
On May 6, the work of collecting opinions from the people, sectors and levels on the entire draft resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution began and will last for 30 days.
