In Pictures: National Assembly deputies pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

At exactly 7:15 AM, the delegation, led by the top Party and State leaders, proceeds from Bac Son Street to President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum to pay their respects to the great leader.

On the wreath of the delegation, there is the inscription: "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh – the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, 9th session."

Party and State leaders and other NA deputies pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

NA deputies from provinces and cities across the country also participate in the tribute ceremony prior to the opening of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

At Ba Dinh Square, the military band performs ceremonial honours as part of the event.

The solemn atmosphere of the tribute ceremony and flower offering at President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum reflects the deep respect of the National Assembly delegation.

Following the ceremony, Party and State leaders exchange brief conversations en route back to the NA House to attend the preparatory session.

The NA House is the venue for the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, where deputies will deliberate and decide on many important matters, closely followed by the people and voters nationwide.
