The event is among 40 events held within the 20th 'Meeting Vietnam' conference series, hosted by the Rencontres du Vietnam Association.

The event brought together experts, scientists, and researchers from prestigious universities around the world, such as Professor Gerald Fuller from Stanford University, Professor Daniel Goldman from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Professor Detlef Lohse from the University of Twente, Professor Olivier Dauchot from the Paris School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry, and Professor Ramin Golestanian from the University of Oxford.

The five-day conference provides a platform for participating scientists to exchange discussions and present their latest discoveries on soft matter, fluids and interfaces.

The delegates presented 80 reports, focussing on recent advances in active matter, biological matter, living matter, granular materials, multiphase and complex flow, transition surface, and surface modification.
