Hanoi Radio Television Station launches 'Hanoi On' multimedia content application

Hanoi Radio Television launched the 'Hanoi On' multimedia content application, which is a core platform that distributes content on multiple devices of the digital journalism ecosystem, on July 10.

The project is part of the strategy to complete and gradually form a modern multimedia complex of the capital city.

Hanoi On is not only a content distribution platform but also an interactive application, connecting users to satisfying their needs in accessing, viewing, listening, reading, and experiencing healthy information and events, interesting stories, and entertainment programs taking place in Hanoi and nationwide, along with issues that Hanoi people are concerned about as well as topics that the whole country and the world want to learn about Hanoi.

Hoang Phuong, Director of the digital content centre of Hanoi Radio Television, said that Hanoi On App is an integrated platform connecting the system of radio and television channels of the Hanoi Radio Television; connecting the station's multi-channel network system with the website and content distribution portals; and connecting the station with the public.

Hanoi On is developed and released in stages on digital platforms and popular operating systems, including iOS, Android, Android TV, Tizen, and WebOS, and has been integrated with expanded features and capabilities.

Journalist Nguyen Kim Khiem, General Director and Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Radio-Television Station, emphasised that the launch of Hanoi On would complete the digital journalism ecosystem foundation of Radio Hanoi while also contributing to gradually forming the content ecosystem of the capital city of Hanoi.

This is also an important step in the digital transformation roadmap, affirming the station's commitment and determination in achieving the goal of forming a modern multimedia communication complex of the capital, he added.

Furthermore, users can also listen to music, podcasts, radio programs and audiobooks while exercising or traveling by car; or listen to high quality music on modern sound systems, watch TV shows, entertainment programs, and classic movies on big screens.

Hanoi On also applies new technological achievements to provide users with diverse experiences through the range of information content that Hanoi Radio and Television produces and distributes, suitable to their interests and preferences, consistent with the national press digital transformation strategy.
