The content of the Viet Nam exhibition booth at this year’s festival drew significant interest from international friends, offering a journey connecting Viet Nam’s past and future: from the historic milestone 115 years ago when President Ho Chi Minh first arrived in France on his quest for national salvation, to the country's powerful transformation in the new era.
Themed “President Ho Chi Minh – A Journey for Peace and National Independence”, the exhibition introduced international visitors to key images and documents reflecting his life, revolutionary career, and immense contributions to the Vietnamese nation and the global struggle for peace and national independence.
The booth also highlighted the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the strategic “centenary goals” for Viet Nam to become a developing nation with modern industry and upper-middle income by 2030 (marking the Party’s centenary), and a developed, high-income nation by 2045 (marking the centenary of the country’s founding).
Comrade Fabien Gay, Senator and Editor-in-Chief of L’Humanité, highly appreciated Nhan Dan Newspaper’s active participation in the festival, viewing it as a vivid testament to the traditional friendship and steadfast solidarity shared by the communists and peoples of France and Viet Nam.
He emphasised that Viet Nam consistently brings positive energy, a message of peace, and a spirit of profound international cooperation to the event.
The exhibits and interactive activities presented by the Nhan Dan Newpaper delegation at this festival help international friends—particularly the younger generation—gain a better understanding of the Vietnamese nation’s glorious past and its determination to achieve breakthroughs in this new phase of development.
