Nhan Dan Newspaper presents Tet gifts to Cyber Command

In modern warfare, cyberspace is considered the fifth combat environment, which is connected closely with air, ground, sea and space combat. Therefore, cyber combat plays an important role in wars that use hi-tech weapons.

The Cyber Command is a unit of the Defence Ministry and helps the ministry implement the State management function of safeguarding the national sovereignty, in cyberspace and information technology.

Speaking at a ceremony, Editor in Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Le Quoc Minh congratulated the officers and soldiers of the Cyber Command, in recent years, for overcoming difficulties and completing the political tasks assigned by the Party and State.

He was also introduced to the leadership of the Cyber Command, about the achievements of Nhan Dan Newspaper, in communication in general and digital transformation in particular.

He affirmed that Nhan Dan newspaper always pays special attention to propagandising activities of the Vietnam People’s Army, in all publications.

He expressed his hope that Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Cyber Command would have closer cooperation, to complete the tasks assigned by the Party and State.

On behalf of the Cyber Command, Major General Pham Viet Trung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Cyber Command, expressed his sincere thanks to the editorial board and staff of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

He also expressed his desire to continue cooperating with Nhan Dan Newspaper in the fight against and countering allegations of distortion in cyberspace.

He sent his Tet wishes to all leaders, officials, employees, reporters and editors of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
