The hybrid event was held by the national steering committee for the search, repatriation and identification of fallen soldiers’ remains (National Steering Committee 515), drawing the participation of some 3,000 delegates.
Over the past years, the policies for organisations and individuals who engage in the search and repatriation have been implemented while vehicles and equipment have been effectively used to facilitate the work.
Deputy Minister of National Defence Sen. Lieut. Gen. Vo Minh Luong, deputy head of the steering committee, asked competent ministries, sectors and agencies to continue stepping up the communications work to raise public awareness of the Party and State’s policies.
Relevant agencies and units should propose the Government issue new documents on the policies, make estimates, allocate funding and mobilise resources to support the search and repatriation of martyrs in accordance with the current regulations.
On this occasion, 26 organisations and 27 individuals were honoured for their excellent contributions to implementing and ensuring policies for organisations and people participating in the search and repatriation work.
