Party official attends National Great Unity Festival in Nghe An

On the afternoon of November 16, Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the PCC's Organisation Commission and the Central Working Group attended the National Great Unity Festival in Cao Veu 1 Village, Phuc Son Commune, Anh Son District, in the central province of Nghe An.

Phuc Son commune has a 5.66km border line adjacent to Laos, with two landmarks numbered 443 and 444. The commune has 9,329 people/2,525 households, of which 342 are ethnic minority households. The commune has achieved 9 out of 19 new rural criteria, with an average income per capita of about 43,5 million annually.

Sharing the joy with the people of Cao Veu 1 Village, Politburo member Le Minh Hung sent his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the village. The Head of the PCC's Organisation Commission expressed his joy and excitement at the solidarity, unity and efforts of the people of Cao Veu 1 Village. He was happy to receive the affection of Lao friends who came to celebrate the Great National Unity Day with the people of Cao Veu 1 Village, demonstrating the solidarity, unity and good friendship between the people of the two countries and between the two Parties and the two peoples.

Emphasising that the Party Committees and authorities at all levels are making efforts to prepare for the organisation of the Party Congress, in the coming time, Politburo member Hung asked the Party Committees at all levels to pay the most attention and focus on the work of building the political system, promoting the role of all levels and sectors in socio-economic development, successfully implementing the set tasks, targets and goals.
