Party official presents scholarships to poor students in Tien Giang

He applauded the school’s teachers and students for their achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year, and express his hope that the school will gain further progresses in teaching in learning in the 2024-2025 school year.

He presented 10 million VND to Nguyen Thi Tot School’s management board, and delivered 50 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to disadvantaged students at the school.

The same day, he held a meeting with leaders of Go Cong Tay District to review the locality’s socio-economic situation and development orientations in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, he highly appreciated the outcomes that the Go Cong Tay district’s authorities and people have achieved in recent years.

He requested that the local authorities to pay attention to attracting more investment in developing agriculture, education, and environment protection.

He also asked the local Party Committee to closely coordinate with departments, and sectors of Tien Giang Province to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles facing businesses, thus facilitating the district’s socio-economic development.
