The Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organised an art exchange programme titled “Aspiration to contribute” at the Ha Noi Indoor Games Gymnasium on the evening of August 4.
The programme was attended by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee; outstanding examples attending the 9th “For National Security” Emulation Congress for the 2025–2030 period; and more than 2,000 officers and soldiers participating in rehearsals for the parade marking the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2nd).

Many of the 246 outstanding individuals present at the programme are officers and Party members representing the youth of the People’s Public Security force. They are always dedicated, resourceful, creative, and courageous in their work and combat, and provide the most vivid evidence of youthful strength, of the aspiration to contribute, and of the future of the People’s Public Security force.
Speaking at the programme, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To emphasised that over the past 80 years, under the leadership, education, and training of the Party and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, with the close coordination of all levels and sectors, and the affection and assistance of the people, the Public Security force has continuously grown and matured while striving to excellently fulfil all assigned tasks. It has achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, always worthy of being a core armed force in the protection of the Party, the socialist regime, and the peaceful, happy lives of the people.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security affirmed that in any circumstances, generations of Public Security officers and soldiers have always been ready to take on tasks, accepting sacrifice and hardship, devoting themselves wholeheartedly to serving the Party, the Fatherland, and the people.
Tens of thousands of examples of courage and heroic sacrifice in work and fighting throughout different periods have become noble symbols, further embellishing the heroic and glorious tradition of the Viet Nam People’s Public Security.
Specifically, the results and achievements of the “For National Security” emulation movement for the 2020–2025 period have made an important contribution to building a truly pure, strong, standardised, elite, and modern force; continuing to affirm its pioneering and exemplary role in implementing the Party’s strategic policies on streamlining the organisational apparatus, national digital transformation, improving the legal system, and fighting corruption, wastefulness, and negative phenomena, creating many outstanding achievements and feats, maintaining national security, and consolidating a disciplined, safe, and healthy society.
He stressed that throughout the glorious process of building, fighting, and maturing, the Public Security force has always received the support of all levels and sectors, and all strata of the people, including the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and generations of Vietnamese youths.
Through the revolutionary movements of the Youth Union, the Ministry of Public Security’s “All people protect national security” movement has always been closely associated with the “Youth volunteers to defend the Fatherland” movement launched by the Youth Union Central Committee.
The Deputy Minister requested that youth union organisations of the People’s Public Security continue to have a profound and comprehensive understanding of the situation and tasks of public security work, and must answer the major question: “What responsibilities do the youths of the People’s Public Security have, and what must they do in the new era — the era of the nation’s rise?” They also continue to strongly innovate the organisation of movements and youth union activities in a practical direction, effectively serving the political tasks of the sector and serving the people.
The programme featured excellent artistic performances expressing patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and the aspiration to dedicate of the public security force; as well as exchanges between outstanding examples of the public security force and the youth union, creating an opportunity for public security officers and soldiers to share experiences and transfer their enthusiasm to the younger generation.
