Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented 80-year Party Membership Badges to two Party members, Nguyen Thi Huu (born in 1928), a member of the Hoa Cuong Ward Party Organisation, and Ho Van Lang (Le Anh Tuan, born in 1927), a member of the Tay Ho Commune Party Organisation, at the Da Nang Municipal Party Committee headquarters; and presented an 80-year Party Membership Badge to Le Thanh Minh (born in 1930), a member of the Hoi An Ward Party Organisation, at his home.
After inquiring after the health of veteran Party members Nguyen Thi Huu, Ho Van Lang, and Le Thanh Minh and their families, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu congratulated the recipients of the 80-year Party Membership Badges on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day.
Honouring the contributions of the veteran Party members over 80 years of steadfast and dedicated service to the Party’s and nation’s glorious revolutionary cause, he emphasised that Party badges are not only prestigious rewards recognising each Party member’s process of dedication, but also symbols of loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, reflecting the Party’s appreciation for the contributions of generations of Party members throughout the revolutionary journey. They are a great honour for each recipient and also a source of pride for their families, localities, Party organisations, and the entire Party.
Recalling the milestones throughout the glorious history of the Party and the country, he affirmed that this journey had been made by the enormous contributions of generations of Party members. Those receiving Party badges today are precisely the people who directly contributed to making that history.
“These are invaluable legacies that provide momentum for our Party to continue stepping up the building of a clean and strong Party and political system, enhancing its leadership capacity, and successfully achieving the goals of rapid and sustainable national development, while taking better care of the people’s lives,” Tran Cam Tu said.
The veteran Party members expressed their emotion at receiving the 80-year Party Membership Badges. They expressed their sincere thanks to Party and State leaders for always paying thoughtful attention to generations of Party members and expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of the Party, the Party Central Committee, and the Da Nang City Party Committee in the development of the country and their home city.
Wishing the veteran Party members and their families good health, Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu expressed his hope that they would continue to follow developments and contribute their opinions to Party and local government building, and pass on to younger generations valuable lessons on revolutionary ideals, political spirit, sense of responsibility, morality, and devotion to the people.
He asked Da Nang’s Party committees at all levels to continue improving care for, and visits to and encouragement of, veteran Party members and pre-uprising officials, listen to their thoughts and aspirations, and respectfully receive their heartfelt opinions and experience.
During this year’s Party badge presentation ceremony marking the August Revolution and National Day, a total of 7,833 Party members across the Da Nang City Party Organisation received Party Membership Badges marking between 30 and 80 years of Party membership, including 10 members receiving 80-year Party Membership Badges.
