PM establishes steering committee on building national strategy on corruption prevention

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 1521/QD-TTg to establish a steering committee on building a national strategy to prevent and combat corruption until 2030, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, secretary of the Party Central Committee, has been assigned as the head of the steering committee.

Deputy heads of the steering committee includes Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Organisation Mai Van Chinh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee for Internal Affairs Nguyen Thai Hoc, Member of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Vu Khac Hung, Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly Nguyen Manh Cuong, Permanent Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Tri Tue, Deputy Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy Nguyen Quang Dung, and Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Long.

The steering committee is responsible for directing the building of the government’s resolution on the national strategy to prevent and combat corruption until 2030, which includes plans for the implementation of the United Nations Convention on Anti-corruption and the Politburo’s Decision No.12-TB/TW on strengthening the Party's leadership in anti-corruption.

The steering committee will terminate its operation after completing its tasks.
