In a speech, the senior Party official thanked veterans for their invaluable contributions to the struggle for national independence. He expressed hope that wounded veterans would continue to make contributions to socio-economic development despite their disabilities.
He also called on the hospital staff to use every possible resource to take care of those who shed blood and sacrificed their youth to bring peace to the country.
Military Hospital 110 is in charge of providing health care for servicemen and residents of provinces along National Motorway 1A from Bac Ninh to Lang Son.
In the first six months of 2013, the hospital offered medical check-ups and treatment to over 47,000 patients and conducted 1,300 operations.
