The Vietnamese leader expressed thebelief that under the LPRP leadership led by the Party chief, the Lao people will continue harvesting new and greater achievements during the renewal period, successfully realising the Resolution set by the 10th National Party Congress and building a country of peace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity towards socialist ideals.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam will do their best to foster and deepen the Vietnam – Laos special solidarity in a practical and effective manner in all fields, for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability, co-operation and development in the region and the world, he affirmed.
“May the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive co-operation between Vietnam and Laos be everlasting”, General Secretary Trong said. He wished the Lao Party chief health, happiness and success in his new position.
