The visit to Laos from February 24-25 is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and President Bounnhang Vorachith.
Meanwhile, the trip to Cambodia from February 25-26 comes at the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.
The Vietnamese delegation includes Politburo member and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong; Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) and Head of the CPVCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, Truong Thi Mai; Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh; Secretary of the CPVCC and Head of the CPVCC Office, Nguyen Van Nen; Head of the CPVCC's Commission for External Relations, Hoang Binh Quan; Party Central Committee (PCC) members: Chairman of the Presidential Office Dao Viet Trung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Trinh Van Chien, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Deputy Defence Minister Sen.
