The Vietnamese Embassy in France coordinated with the Montreuil City government to hold a ceremony to mark the President Ho Chi Minh's 132nd birthday (May 19, 1890-2022), on May 19.

An incense offering ceremony was held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Paris, France.
Addressing the ceremony, Florian Vigneron, deputy mayor of Montreuil, emphasised the important role and imprint of President Ho Chi Minh in France, including his participation in the founding of the French Communist Party at the Tours Congress in 1920.
On behalf of the Vietnamese representative agencies in France, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang expressed his emotion and thanked the city government for coordinating in organising a flower offering ceremony in May every year in front of the statue of President Ho Chi Minh placed solemnly in the city park.
Also, on the morning of May 19, officials and employees of the representative agencies of Vietnam in France came to lay flowers at House 9, Congpoanh Alley, District 17 in Paris, where President Ho Chi Minh used to live and work during the revolution from 1921 to 1923.
* On the same day, the Vietnamese association in Thailand's Udon Thani Province also organised an incense offering ceremony to celebrate the President Ho Chi Minh's 132nd birthday at the relic named after him in Noong On Village, Muong Town.
* On the afternoon of May 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap Province held an inauguration ceremony for the exhibition house "President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese Revolution". The project commenced in 2018 on the premises of the Nguyen Sinh Sac relic site.
The project has received a total investment of more than 9.5 billion VND, with a display area of 600m2 featuring more than 200 images and artifacts displayed in 6 themes that systematically reflect the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
The exhibition house was put into use to contribute to better serving the needs of visiting, studying, learning and researching about President Ho Chi Minh's homeland, family, childhood, and great contributions to the Vietnamese revolution; and actively contribute to the education of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, style, revolutionary historical tradition and patriotism among the young generation.
* On the occasion, on May 19, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue Province, the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province and Hue City held a flower offering ceremony to President Ho Chi Minh and opened an exhibition themed 'Simple and Noble Examples'

With more than 250 images, articles and artifacts, the exhibition introduces typical collective and individual examples in "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morals and style" from all regions of Vietnam.
* On the afternoon of May 19, Ha Tinh City held an open men's boat racing festival to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Ha Tinh (June 15, 1957 - June 15, 2022) and the 15th founding anniversary of Ha Tinh City (May 28, 2007-May 28, 2022).
This year's boat racing festival also featured the participation of athletes from the boat racing team of Pac Xan District, Bolykhamsay Province (Laos).
