President of Moroccan House of Representatives begins Vietnam visit

President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Habib El Malki is paying an official visit to Vietnam from December 16-22.

He is accompanied by the Director of the Moroccan parliament’s Department of External Affairs Amal Belcaid; Secretaries of the President of the House of Representatives, Hassan Najmi and Kamal Hachoumy; and Moroccan Ambassador to Vietnam Azzeddine Farhane.

The visit is made at the invitation of National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The visit presents opportunities for the two sides to exchange measures that will forge bilateral parliamentary partnership and compare their views on regional and international issues of common interest.

Vietnam and Morocco established diplomatic ties in 1961.
