At a meeting with RSB Vice President Sergey Aleksandrovich, in Hanoi, on December 28, Man said he believes that the collaboration between the two agencies will contribute to the dynamic development of the Vietnam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.

He called on the RSB to continue to support and create optimal conditions for the Vietnamese in Russia.

Vietnam always treasures the traditional friendship and valuable support of the Russian people to the country during its national construction and defence, especially the aid of the Russian Government and people to help Vietnam overcome the consequences of typhoon Damrey in November 2017, the official said.

He reiterated that Vietnam always attaches significant importance to and prioritises intensifying its comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia, promoting bilateral affiliation across all fields, effectively and tangibly.

Echoing Man’s views, Aleksandrovich noted his wish that the two sides would continue their coordination and exchange of experience during their operation.

In 2018, a VFF delegation led by its President Man is scheduled to visit Russia, during which the two sides are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.
