More condolences over President Tran Dai Quang’s passing

Leaders of foreign countries and international organisations continue to extend condolences over the passing of President Tran Dai Quang to the Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam and all the bereaved.

United Nations Secretary General António Guterres and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian sent condolence letters to Acting President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.

First Vice-President of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri conveyed condolences to Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

International partners of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, including the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Lao Peace and Solidarity Committee, the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association , the Indian Society for Cultural Co-operation and Friendship, the Japan Asian, Africa and Latin America Solidarity Committee, the Argentina-Vietnam Culture Institute, the Vietnam Veterans Peace Initiative, Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association-Veneto region chapter, the Vietnam-Uzbekistan Friendship Association, and France-Vietnam Association have all extended letters and messages of condolence to the Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam and all those bereaved of late President Tran Dai Quang.

Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea Kang Kyung-wha sent a message of condolence to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.
