The Deputy PM affirmed that the Party and State have always remember the contributions and sacrifice of the revolutionary contributors, including those from Kien Giang province.
The Government has directed the review of preferential policies for revolutionary contributors as well as paid attention to allocating budget to support them, he added.
Deputy PM Binh also hailed the efforts made by the Party, authorities and people in Kien Giang to care for revolutionary contributors.
He asked the provincial authorities to actively allocate local budget and mobilise social resources to create more favourable living conditions for revolutionary contributors and policy beneficiaries.
The province’s revolutionary contributors should continue to uphold the patriotic tradition and inspire the younger generationsto follow Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and laws, contributing to the national construction and defence.
