He praised the results Thanh Hoa has recorded after four years of implementing the resolution of the provincial Party congress but also pointed out a number of weaknesses that need to be overcome.

Deputy PM Binh said that the province needs to tap into its strengths so that Thanh Hoa can become industrialised with synchronous socio-economic infrastructure within the next ten years.

He added that Thanh Hoa should continue its policies on reducing poverty, creating jobs and providing the people with access to education, healthcare, infrastructure and information.

The Deputy PM promised that he will assign ministries to study the province’s proposals in order to facilitate its rapid and sustainable development.

On the occasion, Deputy PM Binh offered incense at the national special historical site of Lam Kinh, and also presented gifts to poor households and disadvantaged workers in the districts of Tho Xuan, Ngoc Lac, Thuong Xuan and Yen Dinh.
