On behalf of Party and State, he extended his warm greetings and best wishes of health and happiness to all officers and soldiers of the MSF and their families.

The State leader noted that throughout its 80 years of establishment and development, under the leadership and training of the Vietnamese Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh and thanks to the care and support of Party committees, local authorities and people, generations of MSF officers and soldiers have represented their wholehearted loyalty to their Fatherland, fellow countrymen and the Party’s revolutionary cause.

The MSF members have represented their unyielding fighting spirit and courage during the national resistance wars against foreign invaders as well as their creativity and effectiveness in the national construction and development, he wrote.

By making huge contributions to the cause of liberation, construction and defence of the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland, the force has been presented with many accolades and titles granted by the Party, State and the army, he noted.

The President expressed his hope that the MSF’s officers and soldiers would continue upholding their fine tradition, improving themselves in order to amply fulfil their assigned tasks of protecting the Party, Government, lives and properties of the people; maintaining political security and social order; and joining their hands with the Party, people and army to make a firm foundation to successfully realise the national Doi Moi (Renewal) process and to construct and defence the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
