A report delivered at the session noted that February coincided with the Lunar New Year festival, resulting in a substantial workload, with numerous activities conducted before, during and immediately after the holiday.
Under the direct leadership and guidance of the President and Vice President, the office seriously carried out the assigned tasks, proactively developed plans and ensured the coordinated delivery of advisory and support services for both domestic and external activities of the State leadership in a careful, secure and effective manner.
Preparations related to the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term have also been carried out thoroughly, according to the report.
In his concluding remarks, President Cuong stressed that the tasks ahead remain demanding amid complex and unpredictable regional and global developments. The current period also marks the first quarter of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and related action programmes.
Given this, he asked the office to further enhance the quality of its strategic advisory work, closely aligning with the working agenda of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat, and to ensure thorough preparation for the State leadership’s participation in major conferences and for the implementation of the assigned duties.
The leader requested particular attention be paid to advisory and support work for the upcoming election to ensure strict compliance with regulations.
The office was also urged to play a proactive role in advising on high-level external relation activities in line with its mandate, and to ensure that considerations relating to special amnesties are conducted prudently, objectively and in accordance with the law.
