In recent years, Quang Ninh has created favourable conditions for organisations and individuals to invest in building agricultural product processing factories, creating raw material areas and clearing land with many mechanisms and policies to support investment in infrastructure construction and equipment for production.

Many investors have boldly implemented key projects, including large-scale projects in preserving and processing agricultural products, improving value and creating sustainable output for local agricultural products.

Localities in the province have also replicated the rural tourism model associated with new-styled rural construction while forming and developing agricultural production facilities combined with attractive tourism. Quang Ninh’s creative models and methods have created branded products, preserving each region’s unique culture while creating highlights and attractions for Quang Ninh tourism.

In addition, the province is also effectively implementing a sustainable community tourism development project, paying attention to preserving and promoting traditional values, especially the cultural identities of ethnic minorities and promoting the value of cultural - historical relics and scenic spots. The project has been developed in a diverse, professional, interconnected manner and closely connected direction through the appeal of specific and unique products, contributing to promoting tourism development.

At the same time, the province has continued to review the construction sites of four ethnic minority villages, associated with the development of community tourism and eco-tourism, contributing to maximising the potential and advantages of tourism in ethnic minorities, mountainous and border areas of the province.

These cultural villages are expected to become “living museums” to continue to effectively preserve and promote the unique traditional cultural identities of ethnic minorities associated with sustainable tourism development.

Currently, localities have specific solutions to promote local strengths, with attention being paid to implementing mechanisms, policies, and tourism planning according to regulations, mobilising maximum investment resources for tourism development and improving the quality of tourism products.

At the same time, they have also coordinated with travel agents and businesses to build tours according to intra-regional and extra-regional tourist routes; attract tourism businesses to invest in large-scale resorts and hotels to increase service capacity and prolong the stay of tourists; encourage individuals and organisations to establish businesses and cooperatives, that provide tourism services such as accommodation, homestays, restaurants, production and sale of traditional handicrafts.
