After nearly two hours of flight, at 18:15 local time, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam delegation arrived at Yangon International Airport, Myanmar, to carry out their international rescue mission.
During the night-time journey, Colonel Nguyen Minh Khuong, head of the delegation, assigned 26 members to three task teams. Initially, they were responsible for transportation, and assembling equipment and supplies. Upon arrival at the site, they would set up camps and implement rescue plans.

After a six-hour journey from the airport, the delegation arrived in Naypyidaw at 3:00 AM on March 31.
Following a coordination meeting with local authorities, the host country guided the team to the first incident site, which was 20 minutes away from their base. The site was a three-story building in the Balathidi residential area, Zabuthiri Township, which had collapsed over 200 square meters.
In front of the building, a man over 60 years old was trapped, while at the back of the building, a woman about 30 years old was also trapped.
Initial assessments detected signs of fatalities, and the police force is currently using sniffer dogs to locate victims.
