Russia-Vietnam oil and gas joint venture exerts efforts to create breakthroughs

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi and officials of the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Russia-Vietnam oil and gas joint venture (Rusvietpetro) in Moscow on February 3.

Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi highly appreciated Rusvietpetro's achievements over the 15 years of operation and affirmed that oil and gas is one of the key fields of cooperation between Vietnam and Russia.

The Ambassador emphasised that Rusvietpetro and the Vietnam-Russia oil and gas joint venture (Vietsovpetro), are two symbolic projects of cooperation between the two countries.

Sharing his own experiences at the mines in the Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region of Russia, where Rusvietpetro is exploiting oil, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi expressed his pleasure that workers have good living and working conditions.

The Ambassador wished that the workers and experts would continue to overcome difficulties away from home and endure harsh climate conditions to complete the job successfully.

Also on this occasion, the Ambassador shared with the Rusvietpetro General Director about plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's first visit to Petrograd, now Saint Petersburg (Russia).
