Seminar highlights youth’s role in digital transformation

 June 28, the Youth Union of the Centrally-run Agencies Bloc held a seminar in Hanoi, under the theme ‘Youth of centrally-run agencies bloc make breakthroughs in digital transformations to realise their assigned tasks’.

Discussions at the seminar focussed on four major topics, including the role of youth union members and young people in general, in fostering the digital transformation process in their working places, practical models and initiatives launched by youth union members and young people in speeding up digital transformation, breakthrough solutions on improving the efficiency of digital transformation at agencies and units, and typical digital transformation models and digital platforms in the bloc.

Participants agreed that digital transformation is an inevitable trend which is taking place robustly and widely in today’s life, contributing to changing the awareness, action, working style, and production of individuals and organisations.

According to the Secretary of the Youth Union of Centrally-run Agencies Bloc Bui Hoang Tung, over the past time, the bloc’s youth union members have been fully aware of the importance of digital transformation, considering it an effective way to realise their jobs and assigned political tasks.

He noted, that with a high sense of responsibility, creativity, and effort, the youth union members have worked out many practical and effective activities to enhance the digital transformation process in their agencies and units, thus showing the youth’s pioneer role in implementing the process.

He added that they have also been actively applying digital technology to improve working efficiency and organised activities to raise public awareness of digital transformation.
