Seven job fairs to be held for repatriating workers in four provinces

Seven job fairs are scheduled to take place in seven poor districts of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces in support of expat employees who have returned home.

The Centre for Overseas Labour (Colab) under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs said that it will coordinate with the Employment Service Centres of four provinces Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Nghe An, and Thanh Hoa to hold job fairs in the seven districts of Kong Chro, Tu Mo Rong, Kon Plong, Que Phong, Tuong Duong, Thuong Xuan, and Ba Thuoc in order to increase connectivity between employees and enterprises.

The event is part of the National Target Programme on Sustainable Poverty Reduction held for people currently residing in poor localities, especially expat workers who were in Japan and the Republic of Korea and have returned home.

Job fairs will take place from August 22 to September 22, 2023 in the districts of Kong Chro (Gia Lai province), Tu Mo Rong and Kon Plong (Kon Tum province), Que Phong and Tuong Duong (Nghe An province), Thuong Xuan and Ba Thuoc districts (Thanh Hoa province).

Employees can register for the job fairs from July 13 to September 22, 2023 through Colab’s website or via the Departments of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of the aforementioned districts.
