Speaking at the working session, Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Party Central Committee and secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, said that in recent years, Ha Nam has always promoted socio-economic development with an average growth rate of 10%/year. The growth rate in 2024 reached 10.93% (ranked 2nd in the Red River Delta and 4th nationwide) and industry always maintained a high growth rate (15.75%/year).
With a favourable investment environment, Ha Nam Province is becoming a destination for many domestic and foreign investors. Up to now, the province has had 409 FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than 6.6 billion USD, with 13 projects of Singaporean investors having a total registered investment capital of more than 345 million USD investing in production and business in Ha Nam.

Currently, FDI enterprises are operating in stable production and business and are increasingly developing, creating jobs for workers, and contributing positively to the province's development.
In the coming time, Ha Nam Province will actively accelerate the progress of developing and completing the Operating Regulations and related planning of Ha Nam High-Tech Park, committing to always accompany and create the most favourable conditions for investors to implement future projects and ensure sustainable development.

Speaking at the meeting, Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam Jaya Ratnam thanked the leaders of Ha Nam Province for their warm welcome to the delegation.
The Ambassador hoped that Ha Nam Province would organise delegations to visit Singapore, thereby helping to promote and introduce the strengths of Ha Nam Province to Singaporean investors about the province's investment potential.
Singapore is ready to support Ha Nam Province in human resource development and training.
