US President Donald Trump has working dinner with DPRK Chairman Kim Jong Un

President of the United States Donald Trump and Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un attended a working dinner together at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel on February 27.

The dinner party between the two leaders gathered the participation of senior assistants and interpreters. US President Trump was accompanied by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney. Meanwhile, DPRK Chairman Kim Jong Un was joined by his senior special envoy Kim Yong-chol and Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho.

Earlier, the two leaders had a closed-door meeting in 20 minutes. DPRK Chairman Kim Jong Un said he had an “interesting dialogue” with US President Donald Trump, voicing his hopes that the second DPRK-USA Summit will be a success.
